Greetings!

The Philosophical Association of the Philippines (PAP) is happy to announce its forthcoming mid-year conference. This will be on October 24, 2003 at the Tanghalang Quirino, The Graduate School,  University of Santo Tomas, Manila.

The theme for this conference is "Philosophy and Political Responsibility." This in line with our preparations for the coming elections next year.We have invited professors who are experts in this field. We have allotted a session for concurrent discussions and we are calling on PAP members to submit their scholarly papers on the said theme, to be presented on these concurrent discussions.

An abstract must accompany the complete text. The paper should be deliverable between 20-30 minutes. Last day of submission will be on September 16, 2003.

A screening committee will deliberate on the merit of submitted papers. A letter of approval and acceptance duly signed by the President of the Philosophical Association of the Philippines will be sent to the authors whose papers were approved. A copy of the program where the date and time of the delivery of the approved paper will be included in the letter.
